Inaugural Social Media Fest Gets Ruparelia Group Backing

The first edition of the Social Media Fest organized by Spotlight Publications has attracted the attention of Ruparelia Group who now join a list of distinguished sponsors of the event happening on 25th January at Silver Spring Hotel Bugolobi.

Ruparelia Group joins other sponsors like Uganda Communication Commission, National Information Technology Authority Uganda (NITA Uganda-U), NBS Television, Business Focus, Next Communications, and Tusker Lite.

The two-day networking event will bring together individuals, social media groups, influencers, bloggers, and digital marketing agencies, government agencies, various brands, and organizations. Revelers will be treated to an exhibition, entertainment and activities like games, snap chatting, and selfie challenges among others.

The social media Festival will run under the theme “Redirecting Social Media to Impactful Social Networking Engagements”. According to the organizers, the Social Media Festival aims at streamlining the social media industry towards effective and professional communication amongst users.

It also aims to promote digital marketing and e-commerce among Ugandans, amplify an impactful usage of social media, create a valuable avenue for marketing and branding, create a valuable avenue for product awareness, marketing, and brand visibility.
